A few months ago an idea occured to us: to create this blog regarding the classical studies, taking into consideration that the roots of modern science and languages really lie in the philosophical schools which developed in ancient Greece and furthermore that several careers require the knowledge of classical languages, that is to say Latin and Greek.
We create this blog as a way
to honor our roots and help the contemporary students of the greek colleges to
broaden their comprehensions.
We would like to give a chance
to people that live outside Greece and admire the birthplace of Western
civilisation, its language and its great long-term culture to deepen their
knowledge as far as the Classical Studies are corncerned.
